Mr. President

Ben Fetter as President of the United States, unquestionably one of the most powerful men on the planet, finds himself at the wrong-end of betrayal and conspiracy. One perpetrated by what he will ultimately know as the ‘squad’. The squad is an unholy confederation involving the Speaker of the House, Marcy Stanbridge, Bob Taggart, the President’s aide de camp, and the President’s wife, Heather Fetter. Each has their own motive for wanting to control the movements of, and what the President says publicly.

The initial efforts of the squad to make the President their puppet are crude and predictably fail. But having failed, they realize there is no turning back. Their hand being forced they resort to a new method of control and imprisonment so cruel and diabolical it challenges any notion of humanity. Unbelievably, they sever the President’s spinal cord and implant a coded CPU to alter speech and movement. Squad has created their pawn.

Suspended, inanimate, Ben Fetter has only one defense…his dreams. Initially, he dreams as any normal human would. But with time, and surprisingly with the aid of the CPU, these dreams take on a complexity and corporal animation that is unlike anything you and I are capable of. It is within his illusions the President builds a new reality, where fantasy and material world blur. Here he eventually plots his escape from his entrapment and the squad.
